Good news is, I have some concepts I want to work on for future animations. Plus re-doing some of my older animations, maybe.
I'd really like to try my hand at an actual, fantasy story-based animation, but while I have the ideas and stories in work (sorry, I won't be sharing the ideas here yet, they're still very rough around the edges), I don't know the best and most efficient way for me to put them together into a planned script. If anyone has any suggestions about scripting for animations I'd be most greatful. I normally work straight off my head for my music video ones, without a script.
I'm only used to scripting comics usually, so timing and sound effects and such, I dunno the clearest way to lay them out. Whenever I try it ends up as a complete jumble (which as you can imagine isn't much help lol!). I'm a solo animator, I don't have a team, but if I want a voiced animation etc I'll need to be able to make the timing and tone of scenes clear.
Another point, is lately I've had trouble keeping my file sizes as small as possible. One animation was unable to be posted on NG mostly because its size is over twice the limit! (You can view it on my DeviantART or YouTube accounts though if you want). If anyone has any suggestions for compressing future videos and keeping the highest quality possible, please help me out here, Normally I just export swf and leave it as that, clearly that isn't always enough haha.
Anyway, sorry this post isn't all that informative, but any help anyone could give'd be awesome. (Though I realise the likely hood of people seeing this is slim!) I'm also looking around the forums and such for help too. Thank you guys.
